 *The Sun Protection Factor (SPF) tells you how much UVB light a sunscreen will filter. An SPF 30 filters 97% of UVB rays. We firmly believe this high percentage of filtering is not necessary for casual daily use because, unless you have fair skin with work that involves direct sun exposure for long periods, your risk of sunburn is non-existent. Besides, filtering high amounts of UVB light can inhibit your body's ability to produce the proper amount of vitamin D, which can compromise your immune system health.
